Completion Day
The day ownership transfers and you get the keys.
Completion day is when mortgage funds transfer from your lender to the seller's solicitor, legal ownership passes to you, and you collect the keys. Typically falls 1-2 weeks after exchange of contracts. Funds move in the morning; keys are usually available from the estate agent by early afternoon. Occasional delays (bank issues, funding problems) can push completion to the next working day.
